Go through any list of working cafes in Tokyo and chances are Caffice will show up. Located on the 2/F of a building, it's directly accessible from Metro stop Shinjuku Sanchome (新宿三丁目). Accessibility is fantastic with three metro lines stopping here – 丸ノ内線、副都心線、都営新宿線.
The large space is well equipped with power outlets everywhere and wifi available for customers.
Every other customer is working with a laptop and the work vibes are strong. It's definitely the kind of place you can spend the whole day working from – and the coffee prices reflect that.
With the price of a latte at JPY800 it seems silly not to stay long. Food isn't cheap either, unless you come for the lunch set (10am-2pm) which includes a drink.
Considering the prices charged the coffees were very forgettable. In effect, you're really paying for the space, not the coffee.
The lunch set seemed popular, though we didn't try it.
It's worth bearing in mind that during the lunch deal it can get quite busy with queues forming outside. When it's busy they ask customers to keep their stay to 2 hours too.
The cafe is smoke free but there is a smoking room by the toilets.
It's a very popular place to work from in a great location.
